RateYourBroker.com was formed to solve a problem in the real estate market.  High fees and commissions were being paid to real estate brokers not based on their skill or competence, but rather as a result of high consumer demand and a lack of transparency.

RateYourBroker.com believes real estate brokers and agents are a necessary and helpful service.  We simply want to separate those who are professional and those who resort to sub-standard practices.

How does this website work?

I am in the Real Estate industry, can I submit a news article? Can I link back to my blog?

Yes.  We encourage writers and bloggers to submit their commentaries on all things real estate.  If it will help our visitors find an apartment, broker or learn about the real esate industry, we will publish it.  We will also give you credit and allow you to link it back to your blog or publication

What if a Broker I used is not listed on your website?

If the brokerage is already listed on our site, you will be able to add a new broker.  However, if the brokerage itself is not listed, please go to the Contact page and tell us--we will work hard to get all their agents listed.

How many cities do you cover?

Currently we cover New York City, but we will rapidly roll out other major cities across the US based on demand.
